A negative view point on "Cloud Computing", from Forbes.com.

Is "Cloud Computing" an over hype term, or do some people, just don't get what is about.

Netbook's and The Cloud, are a reality. I don't know how many internet enabled devices, you the reader may have. I have 3, my desktop, my netbook and mobile. Because I experiment with different OS and constantly updating the devices.

Google Reader, Gmail, and this site combined to form my "Cloud resource". No matter what device I use, I can get access to the same information, or links. No longer do I store bookmarks or e-mail on my own devices.

Now the article has valid points about the bandwidth holding back "The Cloud", but it boils down to what you use the Cloud for!

More thoughts on this later.

Regards,
John O Connell.
